Hi all..I was feeding my juvy bichirs and i noticed my polli having a bulge in his ass area:confused: ..I didnt really fuzz over it I thought it was just gona crap a big one cos of all the shrimp it had the other night, until i came back a few minutes later with it still bulging, I began to suspect that it probably swallowed a pebble:confused: , I then proceeded to catch him with the net hoping, i could help him out by rubbing his anal area, but low and behold after catching it in the net the pebble popped out:WHOA: , thank goodness...:) I put it back in the water and there was just a tiny red spot in its anus..I added some salt in the water just in case it might get infected, I observed it for a while then proceeded to feed them, It was swimming around normally and ate again, Im gonna do a water change tommorow to clean out the water as i just did a 40% h2o change this afternoon...Has anything like this ever happened to any of your bichirs, please share your experiences of your bichirs ****ting rocks and what happened after...:(

be glad the bichir could pass it.Ths is the main reason I don't do gravel in a bichir tank-Anne

I LMFAO when i saw the title of this thread. I thought you were starting a thread about how much you like to take a dump. LOLOLOL

yeah at least the bichir got it out by himself, saved you from trying to push it out yourself:thumbsup:

I think my clown knife is about to do that. I just saw him eat a pebble. Hope it goes through as smoothly as yours.
