Wow, you never give up do you? You sound desperate, so here it goes. This is the Georgia state record. It was 10oz, 9 1/4". The DNR said it's the first time a Shadow Bass has been recognized for state record status. They weren't even on the states species list! The Shadow Bass are very rare to catch. They reside in Georgia and some surrounding states. They sound just like Muskie, a fish of a 1000 casts. Unless you head to Georgia and catch your own there is no way you will find one. And nobody is going to have them for sale. They are just to rare. I and other members have suggested a Rock Bass which is much easier to find/catch and is just as good looking or better. The Rock Bass is actually to small for a 40g tank as they can get up to 12" with the record being 17". All it took was a quick Google search to get all this info . HTH

Shadow bass are not hard to find if you spend time in the right areas. Missouri, Arkansas and Alabama all have healthy populations in targeted waters, and with some research it's easy to identify those. I have spent time on the Eleven Point in Missouri, and had no problem catching a lot of them, including one that was 10.5 inches and 13 ounces. If you show up in August it's easy netting the fry with a good net. Don't be intimidated that they are rare... just do some research and pick your water accordingly.
