Haven't updated my VATF in quite a while and was filming while feeding the main setup. So edited a small out take of him hitting a few pieces of massivore.

He is a solo specimen in with my rays, 12" Jur with a single surviving Geo.

Amazing Tigger!!! Very purdy!

Rays look great too! Thanks for sharing!

Very cool. He must be a couple years old now?? I really like him.

trully a beast! The vittatus has great colors! Great that he's on pellets! There's no way my armatus is going to eat them.

Man I can't wait till I get back on the PC so I can see this video. With all the rave comments this must be a nice one!

Thanks all, he has taken pellets since shortly after I got him at 2.5" on Nov 29 of 2010.

Got the full Video on my You tube channel if you feel like watching it, just didn't want to post the whole thing here. There is actually some better shots of him in it.

Do you have any pictures or videos that show this fish in better lighting or from a different angle? The way the fish was presented in that video has really piqued my interest...

how come the growth rate is so little? Could be a forskalii.

It was confirmed by Wes shortly after I recieved it. It was brought in from a Congo shipment. So I just went with what I was told by the importer and confirmed by Wes. Couldn't tell you why his growth is slower, maybe it was the diet. Kinda why I added Massivore back into it.
I got lazy and he was only feeding on Tilapia, MP and occasionally Night Crawlers for the last 1.5 years. Just recently (last month and half) started him back on Massivore 2-3 times a week. I have since seen a vast improvement in his red colorations since then.

Anywho, here is some still shots for you Chix.
