After trying to find 50 Micron Polishing Pads for an Aquaclear 1200, I cut a piece off of a brand new Shamwow, soaked it for a while to verify there were no dye's that would bleach out, and put it in my filter. It worked like a "Champ". I did have to slow the water flow a bit, but the water is now crystal clear. I will use it periodically to "polish" the water!
