$175 dollars a month right now with all electric house.Goes down to about $110 in the spring.That's with 125g,2 55g tanks. I always thought my bill was high until this thread.Wow some of you have EXTREME bills.
Before:
265G w 2 FX5s, two 250W heaters
125G w 3 XP3s, one 300 W heater
6 x 30G central with 1.5kW of heater and a Mag 24
2 x 55G central with heater with a Mag 9
9 x 10G with air pump and heaters
$115.
Now:
265G w 2 FX5s, two 250W heaters
125G w 3 XP3s, one 300 W heater
2 x 55G central with sump
9 x 10G with air pump and heaters
$100 or so.
Should be about $110 when the 300G is factored in.

I have allways wondered this same thing my self. Some the people on here have lots of tanks going. I have to 75's set up with 2 250 watt stealths on each, 1 ac110 on each and a wet dry on each with 900 gph pumps, and two 20-60 gallon quite one air pumps on each. And 29 gallon with 1 100w stealth, and 1 100w hydor and emperor 250, and wet dry with 300 gph pump. All with the regular cheap lighting systems they come with double tubes. And my bill was 270 some thing last month. With my heat set on 68 half of the time. not to cold down here is souther s.c right now. I have found in my own personal exsperience that having more heaters or more watt heater then you need. As i do on these tanks. That the heaters work less hard and save a little. Just what i have noticed other may disagree.
