Thats why it called Nature Style, cause once amano set a tank he will just leave it and dont touch anything, he let him mature the tank and let the plant grow like in nature.

Rkc: you can have a tank like that, all the plants that amano uses are availble here in the US

Plants:
Philippine Java Fern
Not sure with the moss attached on the woods maybe its Taiwan Moss or Weeping Moss
Forground is Riccia Fluitans
Crypts
Rotala Rotundufilia at the back corner

The Rimless tank is 90cm i think, that will cost you like $300, someday im gonna have that tank, lol

the philippine java moss is the same as the regular java moss? hopefully... would love to get one but i have two right now... not sure if it would be good to make it a planted tank. as you can see below...my signature.. got some variety of fish... do you know how much it would cost for a 60 gal tank to be planted that way and with the co2? some people gave me amounts that were astrnomically high..don't know why.:(

Any one on this site.

Actually, #6 and #30 in the freshwater gallery on that site are my goals.

#32 has some monsters in it. 325 Gal.

These are the best tanks I've ever seen IMHO. Don't know if you guys have seen these before.
I don't know, most of those tanks a really overstocked and are too flashy, not natural.

My dream planted tank is to design a 3' bonzai java tree in my 375g tank.

I need to find an aquarium-safe root structure, that branches out heavily towards the bottom. I want to flip it over and secure it to a large peice of slate, to create a weighted 'tree' once turned upside down. I then want to apply floating plants and ferns all over within the root system high above.

I want to use sand substrate on the bottom, and hope that a tank full of nothing but stingrays will not disturb my 3' bonzai java tree.

This tank is my dream.

Someday.

that sounds like a good idea miles. amano is just a great gardener, which it takes a lot of skill to be, and thats what i see him as. Anyone can put a bunch of plants together, make everything look pretty, but keeping it looking nice for over a month, and let the plants grow into the tank takes skill
