Yeah, every once in a while he would let me touch it... But he was kinda mean and would bite me all the time. 
It was really soft and squishy, and you could see it pulsating...
He also loved to smash it against the glass, which was kinda gross.
Nah, I didn't breed him, he wasn't very friendly with other fish, the only fish he didn't mess with was my Royal Knife... They were friends and shared a cave.
