Wow. Even though I have trouble walking most days, I would be lost if I didn't have 100% use of my hands... I am a graphic design major. Using a computer about 99% every day. I need my hands :/

This happened on the Job and was not my fault (was investigated and ruled a accident)... I use a double monitor and 2 fancy mouses in my work day... I dont plan to sue and I make the best of it, its a mind thing.
I tell myself all the time "It could have been worst" or "I am Thankful to have a Job now a days". Its just another obsticle in life and its up to me to keep my head up and move forward or shut down and feel sorry for myself :D. I choose to live normal and except the Lifetime Therapy for free:headbang2

Wow. You are a trooper. I try to keep it up, but on my (frequent) bad days, I tend to point fingers at my ex. He begged me to stay later at his house knowing I had a 4.5 hour drive home. The cops think I either fell asleep or had a seizure, they aren't sure which. But I am leaning more towards falling asleep (even though I have a history of seizures) because it was so late and I had been so tired that night.

Wow, I feel lucky. I've never gotten an injury that required medical help. :screwy:

I got this one caving, nothing too serious just a gash from falling on a rock, and lots and lots of bruising, though for some reason I never actually turn purple.

I have injured myself countless times. The documented ones I am about to show you both resulted from skateboarding.

This one is when I was performing a flip into a slide on a ledge, I slipped out, my body went horizontal and I fell about 4' straight onto the corner of the ledge. I broke my bottom right rib at the back, 3rd rib from the bottom. I didn't even know it was broken for 2 weeks until I sneezed, it hurt like buggery, I thought I broke it then and there but remembered the accident, I then decided to go to get an xray.

The one is when I was doing a trick on a big quarter pipe, I fell from the top of the coping backwards to the ground, a good 8' drop staight onto my tailbone. It shattered, I couldnt sit down for a few weeks. I thought nothing of it once the pain went. 1 year later, the bone fragments became infected inside, I woke up one morning with all this puss and crap underneath me, I checked my back in the mirror and found a small 1/2" hole near my tailbone, this really freaked me out cause I didnt have a clue why it was there. I went to the doctors and they operated on me, they cut a huge wedge out of my lower back, it looked like someone took to me with an axe. The docs said they had to cut right down to the spine, they said I was very lucky not to get a bad infection in my spine which would have probably paralyzed me. This injury took almost a year to heal, I had to get it packed everyday with gauze so it would heal out. I was still skating with this injury (2 weeks after the op), just not as hard as usual.

Motorcyle wreck a few months ago. Got to spend a few days in the trauma unit in Pitts. to fix my knee and just general beat upness. Couple pics are not showable due to location. word of advice a tank top does not stay where it should while sliding / tumbling down the road.

5 major surgeries. Bi-lateral hernia surgeries - left side in 1999 and the right side in 2000, Bi-lateral carpul tunnel surgeries - both in 2007, 1 month apart, and open heart surgery Sept. 17, 2008 - I had my aortic valve replaced. I had aortic stenosis a disease caused by a calcification build up on the aortic valve. Odd thing is, cardiac Dr.'s and Surgeon's do not know what causes this particular type of disease, and the only thing they can do for it now, is to replace it with either a mechanical or heart valve from a pig. I now have a mechanical valve in it's place and I feel like I'm 20 years younger. No x-rays, no pictures of the tramas. Just some scar tissue is all I have for proof. I could get pics of my wrists, and chest. I just have to figure out how to post the photo's.
The other two would be much to inappropriate to photograph and post. Sorry, you'll just have to accept my word on these two. :D
