You're right it's not a fish
But... I wonder that no one knows what it is! Because this species of salamander is from the USA

It's an
Amphiuma tridactylum
very agressive....
I knew that, but I found the amphi at my lfs... the shop assistent (or salesman? what is the correct word? *g* well, but I think you know who I mean *g*) said to me, that the amphi is very friendly. He said, that it doesn't attack any fish... well... he was a ****
After one hour in my tank, the amphi attacked my leopoldi ray, he died after a few days

so I put the amphi in a smaller tank for its own.
It's a very very agressive predator...
You can see some pics of him here:

Well, its a very slow predator, but when he saw my fingers, he wanted to bite

. Only african cichlids injured him, don't know why. The amphi doesn't attack them, but they attacked the amphi
But now, I've sold him, allthough he was a very interesting predator.... nothing for a community tank! Maybe it would work with larger inhabitants... for example large species of the loricaridae family, or other big catfish.
And the snake (erpeteon tentaculatum):
I've sold her, too.
