It's a Mayan or "false red terror."

Mayan... thats the name I was thinking of. I thought it was some aztec name and it was a south american name.

Because of the grayish bars on his fish. Id say its Mayan. But I have no clue what a "false red terror" is.

Ive pondered the thought of having 2 125g tanks side by side and having a breeding pair of my festaes and find some F1 Mayan's also. Just because of how close they look alike. And yes, I would have there view of eachother blocked. Ive seen other fish go crazy looking at another fish in a nother tank. Or even going crazy over a mirror. But that was just a thought at the time. Because we love the festae so much.

LOL the dude I bought my f1's had some that he said had a "crook" in there back. It was odd. You could only notice it when looking from the top of the tank down ay all his fry. Not all but some. And I got like 3 or 4 out of 20 fry with that. Thats funny. Parrot red terror. LOL. For that reason I dont want to inbreed them. But I do want a breeding pair to grow out of them.

Email or call me leo. I sent you a message. With my email and phone number

As a responsible breeder those fry should have been destroyed, let alone be sold! When they are 1/2" their bodies are transparent. Every fish that have huge spawns will have deformities. It's up to the breeder to cull the deformed and weak ones.

See their straight spine:
