I think about that allot actually. My sons is getting older, i know eventually i'll just be a pain in the ass to him. My 6 yr old daughter already fights with me tooth and nail.... i cant imagine surviving her teenage yrs

Just an update on my tank... bought a indo datnoid... never seen one in person before... absolutely beautiful fish!
Built a overhead sump and added some silk plants to cover some wires and heaters... what do you guys think?

It looks nice. I am also starting to get fond of dats. Open top is interesting. How long is this tank?
They have great personalities defending their territories and begging for food.
The tank is 210 gallons (6'x2'x2'4")
It's not open to though it has full lids!
And thanks for the comment! I really love this tank and the fish in it... spend alot of time making it a good home for them
