Share you're Solar eclipse photos

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
We used welders #14 goggles to watch the phases safely. Once totality set, removed the goggles for photos. The temperature dropped 13 degrees during the eclipse according to the truck thermometer. East coast people it's worth the drive if you're near the path

We got lucky, one of my neighbors had an extra pair of glasses.

Was pretty cool i can only imagine how the total eclipse felt.

It felt like night...

The temperature dropped from scorching to comfortable, it darkened to the point where I could see a few stars, and it became rather loud as the people down the street started celebrating. It was a really interesting experience.

Perhaps there is a God after-all....

Lets not get carried away. Consider how awesome it is that humans have figured out how to predict celestial events such as this with such precision. I'd love to be inside the head of a "flat-earther" right now........

And to think the Mayans had this figured out around 2000 years ago.

First pic is too cool not to share but was maybe half way into the event. Notice the blue dot (lower left under the sun) which is a reflection of the eclipse itself. Second is "totality" both taken from Portland Oregon.

I stopped our work for a paid 30 mins so everyone could watch. So cool to experience it with the team.
