Sharing of my Endlicheri

Hello Everyone!

Would like to share the growth of my Endlicheri from about 12 days ago to current day, which is today as of 13 March.

Been feeding her small bull frogs everyday. About 5 everyday (consumed within 24hours).

The growth was really fast. Currently she's about 5.5inch. The 1st time when i got her, she was about 3++ close to 4 inch. She's staying inside her own growup tank. Fattening her up before i let her join my Datnoids in the main tank.

Can anyone tell me whether if she's a semi short body or normal long body?

I haven't seen them with external gills before?
Is this due to insufficient Oxygen in the water?

Yaa same here, when i first got q bichir it was a del, and he had thr gills in my 55. Currently for my 120 my endli and 2 of my new baby dels never got the gills out. Is it something concerning? Or the show of gills is random?

Great looking little Endi, love the feeding shot. The external gills are normal on juvie endi's. Will disappear likely in the next couple of months.
