animalguy-thats what im hoping for but going to pump him up hopefully for the socal comp next year.
weird thing about this guy is that he likes a divided tank more than a tank for himself.gave him a whole 55 for a week or so and his kok shrunk.dividded him up again and he popped up bigger than before.here's a little update.

He's a power fish. But along the way, I think he lost the competition potential

He look good and that is true whn u put ya fish in competition u get no $$$$$ lol...They gve u fish food , posters , a plastic award and praise......It also raise the value of ya fish if u wanna sell and if he a breeder u may reep the benefits

most the fish in competition these days can't breed..
They all look great but useless.
And one should be able to tell with or without trophy wether the fish is nice. some competitions the 1st place winner looks nothing impressive.
