yeah i was but its so confusing that Marg looks so monster like,compared to that BM elong. and Marg's are more rare, im still not sure

marg's are cool, but if I'm thinking of the same two fish your considering, I'd rather have that S. elongatus rather than that S. marginatus. Are talking about the $350 7" marg that you thought was an irritans? That's a legit BM elong. Once it lives in a tank for a while, especially one with black substrate, your gonna have a racoon looking beast in there. 75g is perfect for an elong.

yeah the Andonis fish is a marginatus and a gorgeous one at that...

I bought my fish as a marg, and it looks a lot like one, but it doesn't have the fin extensions, and the caudal fin are 100% compressus. I learned a lot about piranhas trying to tell em apart.
