How big of tank will he need? 500
 
For all that.... 2,000 if it's a flat and long tank. That green moray will be close to a 6 foot eel at full size. That many brown banded bamboos will need a lot of water to offset the waste load.

He would be happy to hear that a 2,000 gallon tank would be doable! I do find that quite small for a nurse though, not to mention for the benthic he plans for too. I think his final plans are in the 15k plus concrete. Next month he should have a 10x5 fully set up.

The moray already 5ft and growing, I think we plan for him to get 8ft based on his age and rapid growth lately.

The Bamboo's will also be getting their own tank, as they have really taken to each other. They will probably turn into a single tank breeding project, they are both male and female. They will probably get their own 500g with perfect foot print and the rest will move on to bigger tanks.

Yeah, you guys will need MUCH bigger for a nurse. Might be time for him to move out of his parents place.
 
4D rimless glass shark tank. It will be drilled and viewable from all 4 sides and "float" in the middle of the room. We decided not to go completely monster on this next tank as it's going to be transported sooner or later. Then the large concrete tank with a viewing window should come about and take up 2 rooms of the new house :screwy:

Filtration should be a large sand filter with an additional 90G refuge and a smaller bio tower. We already got a hydor Duo thats rated for a 750G tank.

Our friend couldn't take care of her any longer so we took it off his hands.. She was so cute, I couldn't resist.


I agree it is time for him to move out! ;)
