I know a guy that wants to do an above ground shark pond like a 700 gallon pool. He wants to put a blue tang like one of the solid blue ones not like from Finding Nemo. A Gulf Flounder and an epaullete shark in it. He wants to know if they would all get along

Bad combo. You'll never find the floudner, and it won't eat unless you feed it directly. Tang will just carry disease.

Shark would be ok for awhile. What size footprint is this pool? What brand? What filter set up?

It is basically that seven hundred gallon buckets from tractor supply. Actually He told me that he could find the Flounder because he goes to Grand Isle all the time. Grand Isle is on the Gulf Coast of Louisiana.

or did you mean in the tank.

and actually I have fed flounder before in a transport container. it was easy actually or maybe it was just starving but it ate live cockahoe minnow.

so the tang is bad idea and he completely agrees but doesn't know what else to put in there to control algae. he wants to know if you guys have any suggestions at all.

Filtration is undersized for your application (sharks). Use snails/starfish/urchins to keep algae down - but it's really not a big issue in a stock tub.
