Why am I seeing this when I click on the link?

I Google live shark stolen usatoday.com and got the news.
They stole a gray hornshark? :( that poor hornshark... I have a soft spot in my heart for horn sharks and they stole one and could have kiled it!

They had some pretty big balls to attempt something like that.

I saw this on the cable news this morning.I meant to make a thread but got caught up in other activities and forgot all about it until I saw this thread.Anyhow, horn sharks were my favorite sharks to keep back when I was into saltwater and I am very pleased that the shark was returned. How were they able to recover the shark, was it implanted with a tracking device?

Well I can only speculate bit I'm thinking that they would have called went and checked the security cameras and as soon as they saw the shark being stolen they called the cops and the guys were caught at home or something with the shark.
That sound plausible?

Security saw a dripping baby stroller and followed them out of the building but the car sped off. So they had a license plate.

The radio implied the shark survived. How long can a shark survive being wrapped in a blanket? Then after that, being dumped into new water? Crazy.

Also, what is a horn shark that size worth? Maybe $1,000 tops? Aren’t they pretty common in the wild? If you want to steal $1,000 worth of stuff I figure there are WAY easier retail options (of non living things...).

Nah, I'd say maybe 500 tops. I can get a horn shark for about 250 I think. 2 foot is still young considering they can get upto about 4 feet if I remember so.
