clown loaches get 12 inches long and require to be in groups of 6 but are very slow growers so u could keep them in a 65 till they get around 4 inches..... which will be good for awhile.......

not every fish that is a schooling fish needs to be with 5 or 6 others to be happy by the way. there are ALOTTT of members on here with amaing set-ups with two maybe three clown loaches in them that are perfectly fine and happy. and those experienced owners would beg to differ that it is manditory to have 5 others to make it happy.

sorry the fish i was thinking of from planet earth was Mormyrus tapirus
doesnt look as much like a shark as i remember, but its still cool as it uses electrical impulses to find pray

i don't find clown loaches look at all liek sharks myself .. but they are amazinggg fish all the same. i might get a couple and grow them out until they are big enought o survive with my O's

in my opinion nothing really looks like shark except a real shark lol

I'd say get a sturgeon if you have the room for one.No other freshwater fish is more sharklike in appearance.

There are a few different species but I think that the ones that are usually available in the stores is a hybrid of two of the sp.They need plenty of oxygen in their tanks, space and cool temperatures. You can do a search on them and find a wealth of information or look into the other section,I think it is the primitive monsterfish subforum.
