SHARK VS OCTOPUS (MONSTER TO END ALL MONSTERS) SCARY

It said they were finding 3' to 4' shark carcassus on the ground week after week. Was the octopus just killing them and leaving them lay? Or did he attempt to eat them, or just eat pieces of them?
Never seen this before, that is pretty crazy.
