There's a problem about having a show about Bamboo Sharks, Nurse shark, Horn Shark or any other kind of benthic species.

While some shark lovers will find it interesting - the vast majority of "Shark Week" viewers would like find it pretty boring.

But I definitely think that they need to have more programs that are informative about the true nature of sharks - instead of shows that villianize sharks as "Man-eating Monsters of the Deep".

Just so theres no confusion, i didnt mean that a show about bamboo sharks would be boring. I meant that an hour long show chronicling bamboo shark ATTACKS would be just about as informative as the rest of the shark attack shows they were putting on the air this year.

UP NEXT ON WHEN BAMBOO SHARKS ATTACK!-
"My massave 3 foot Bamboo shark came up as I was doing rutine mantainence, It didn't hurt like you would expect, but I knew what had happened when the water around my hand turned a faint pink. I quickly pulled my hand out of the tank, I was bleeding for a whole minute. I even had to use a bandaid."

I got to get up close and personal with several good sized nurse sharks diving off Cozumel last Friday; peaceful creatures regardless of their close family's rep, teeth aren't even built for biting. But... I was also snorkeling in the undisturbed Carribean south of Tulum when my "fearless" local fisherman buddy frantically rushed me to the boat to tell me that a Bull shark had swam within arms reach of my back :WHOA:... I've seen this guy flyfish next to Crocadiles, but he did NOT want to stay in the water near it. I guess just like people, there are good natured and bad natured sharks.
