Has anyone noticed how high the prices are for cichlids on this site? 69.99 for a 6" green terror.... there shipping better be awfully cheap

ya they got a good reputation and such. ive never dealt with them but i can what your saying. they are a little more higher then other dealers.

well i prefer jeff rapps for cichlid purchases. thats just my personal choice

Their larger fish are a bit on the pricey side but I believe the deals are in the juvies and young adults. On the plus side, they do bring in fish that other lfs do not carry. If its a fish that im looking for i'd pay a little more in a store than pay shipping from a dealer. This way I get to pick the fish I want and also observe their personality for a bit.

Well I was looking for true parrot cichlids. There pairs were 75$ for a 6incher where as snookn21 has them for 50$ at 7in and pairs forming. Jeff rapps 15$ for 2incher but his shipping was quite high.

It's not like Rapps or any of the other vendors set shipping rates. UPS, USPS, and FedEx do.

So buy your fish somewhere else. I don't see what the deal is? Anyone can charge whatever they want.

Aquascape has decent prices and ships well,i have never had any problems.

I personally buy my fish from Rapps and yes shipping can be kind of high but at least I know I'm getting what I want. There are alot of folks selling fish and all have different shipping rates so just look elsewhere and see if you can find a better deal but if I were you I would get the parrots from Rapps.
