Lol,there must be more of these sharxploitation films than zombie flicks...There's one on now called Sand Sharks starring the talentless but okay looking Brooke Hogan.

I saw part of that one...
The thing that got me about Sharknado was even the regular parts, street scenes, etc. looked like crap, not just the effects. It's like they had some weird filter on the whole "film".
I think it's because they filmed during bright sunny days and had to turn them into a storm like environment.

I figured they make the 'regular' parts look bad so the crappy effects parts don't stand out so much... but either way it doesn't deserve that much thought.
I guess they're re-airing it tonight? I only saw about 5 minutes so maybe I'll catch more of it. Didn't realize while watching that it would turn into a cultural phenomenon, weird how that happens so randomly....
Nice trick with the chainsaw but even that couldn't get Tara Reid to muster up a different facial expression than the same one she has in every scene she's in.
