Sorry for your loss. That delhezi was super nice. How long did they live together? My Ornate just ate the new Endli I just got. I should have known better than to put it in there but I thought it would be ok since the Endli was the same size as other bichirs that I have had in the tank for some time now. My Ornate has now eaten an Endli, Senegal, Rope Fish, a small Baracuda, and a needlenose gar. Oh and killed another Endli. I've since come to the conclusion that some bichirs are just beasts!

But like you said, at least she didn't grab the moke. there will be nice pattern dels coming in soon I'm sure.
It's great to see that the lap is so big though. There's a video on my youtube account with the baby sized laps eating massivore bits.

Wow sorry for your loss squishy,how often do you guys feed your bichirs as ive only ever once had an issue with mine and that was a 12" endli trying to eat a 7" endli.

I feed my bichirs once a day with Cichilid Gold, Massivore Delite, and Talipia or Shrimp thrown in there too every 2 or 3 days....they are def not starving, shes just a jerk.
