yup, being so young I would fatten her up again then try again once healthier.

Im not seeing the problem with earthworms or bloodworms, mine ate shrimp from the beginning....go for ghost shrimp, they cant resist them

i usually wait to try diff foods until around the 7" range. after that they r easyier to convert over.

with my retic, my motoros taught her to eat other foods.

If your ray is eating night crawler /earthworm stop feeding blood worm. Blood worm is a starter food for wild and sometimes C/B rays.Costs alot and is garbage in the long term. Get the blood of the worm on the shrimp and let it merinade for 15 min. Only feed the new food. Give it time!

keep going for 12 days at a time.. get freeze dried shrimps and soak them in the blood worms...

I've had exactly zero success with trying to get retics off of worms. nightcrawlers and chopped earthworms are the best that mine will eat, although he will eat Hikari Sinking Carnivore, but only if I chop it up small and put it in with the worms.

I've pretty much resigned myself to feeding worms, but it's not so bad. Do you have trouble getting worms where you are?
