Shedding...

So just curious I have my first bearded dragon ( got him 3/31/08) and I notice maybe 3 weeks ago he shedded and then a week ago he shed again and now today I notice he is shedding again.. is that normal? I just seemed like a lot to me, then again I've never owned one before. :)
 
ok cool just making sure =] yah he has gotten quite a bit bigger. Which also do they run around a lot? I take mine out of his cage to hold him and he jumps and runs everywhere. Will he calm down when he gets older? I was told to handle him often b/c males are more mean when they get older if you dont handle them when they are young?
 
well the good thing is they got a short little neck that kinda keeps them from turning on you to bite even if they wanted.Dont let him jump to far from the ground.Might get hurt.My male was my fav.I had a female that hated being touched.When you hold him dont let him down outside,mine almost took to the street,lol.Faster than I thought and unexpected.
 
lol yah mine is a male and he is pretty fast, he doesnt jump far and usually its from my hand to my bed. I dont let him out of my room b/c I have a cat. I make sure the under part of the door is blocked by towels so he cant get out. I dont think he likes being touched much either so I try to handle him more so he gets used to it/me.
 
Their shedding will slow down with age, however as far as the "running" my male is a few years old, and he's running all the time! He's always doing laps in his tank, so you might have to get used to that. :)

is he shedding the same body parts?

like maybe..... one week, back... next week, belly.... next week limbs.....catch my drift?
