Shells on Shrimp?

Not too many arowanas swimming out to the ocean to munch on some shrimp in the wild.

thats what i was going to say.

and i have de shelled every shrimp for my aro since the start.
and if ya seen my aro,he doesnt lack in color.

but.....................there are freshwater shrimps in the amazon!

I just cut the sharp portion of the head and tail of the prawn and feed whole to my monsters. They will just swallow whole.

Probably a good idea to remover head and tail spines. Takes only a few seconds and could save a life.

i feed mine live crayfish on a clear plastic skewer from time to time, but i cut off the horn and the large claws just in case...never bothered to cut the tail and haven't had any problems yet....
