Thanks guys. There's several FTS' of this tank up here, but I'll get a new one with the ornates in there.

It's a bit humorous watching the ornates, they keep going into areas that they don't quite fit through, then have to squirm and back up. They're slowly getting used to the layout though. Strangely enough, they're spending most of their time at the surface in amongst the val leaves.

I know it's normal when they are juveniles, but I've never heard of them doing it as adults, or experienced it with any of my other bichirs. They're still doing it though, but they seem very relaxed up there. They pop down to the bottom as soon as the food hits the water and slowly cruise around at other times.
