My female bushy is missing! She was in the tank yesterday.

I have a cover over where the filter intake is, so no way out.

I have sand, no chance of randomly hiding? I have a syno cat, but the bushy is too big for him to eat and no remains...

I took out the decorations and swished the top of the sand around...=[

Is the syno the only other fish you have in the tank?

no there are two dojo loaches, 4 hatchet fish, 2 kuhli loaches...none of which would have eaten it =/

also i've checked the filter, and he is not there...
i've never known a pleco to do this, but could he be under the sand?

If so, I don't think it'd be alive. Last time I was missing a pleco, I discovered it by finding just a skull. I hope this is not your fate...but its lookin kinna ugly. I hope you find it alive and healthy. What kinna filter do you run? If its a HOB, sometimes they post up behind the lip of the waterfall?...?

yeah i haven't found it anywhere =[...

if i find a skull i'll probably cry....=[

CHeck under the couch, bed, chairs, dressers, drawers, book shelfs, under the tank.
if it did jump out they can flop all over the place. Hope you find it.

yeah i checked underneath. i have a covering over the filters opening, but checked anyways.

it was a cute one, and they don't have snowflake bushy around here, i had to go to cleveland to get him.
