I was wondering if anyone else had fed there Peacock Bass, bait shop Shiners, there used for trout and bass fishing, they seam to be a lot cheaper than petshop gold fish feeders...................

We have them hear in my families old ranch pond and temperature hear in this area of Central California can reach over 110 F and even though the pond is a black water pond (Like the Rio Negro in Brazil) the water temperature can climb well over 85 F. Other than quarintining the shiners for parisites and other nasties their great food for peackok bass as the shiners let peackoks exhibit more natural chase hunting behaviors.
