^^^Thats good Jon. You shouldnt ever put the water in the bag into your tank. And as far as cuttin the bag i do the same. Much faster.

Wish you luck cool mbu w/ your new bass. YOu should be fine.

i dont take the time to cut the bag i just rip it open after about twenty minutes in the tank and pour the bag into the net i put over the sink catches all the fish i dont have anyone elses water and im ready to drop them in lol

sweet hope all goes well

keep us posted!!

wht tank u put him in?

i cut open bags as well. but i dont pour the contents into the sink(although it would keep me from washing containers), i pour them into a holding container or bowl or bucket - depends on how big the fish is/are - with a net over it, then i do the plop. that way, the fish does not have to be out of water long.

For big Pbass plop and drop is the way to go b/c you have to get them out of the container they were transported in as quickly as possible. IMO drip acclimation is the way to go for smaller Pbass. I just put the fish and water in a bucket and create the drip tube for a few hours and net them and put them in the tank. The transport water is never put in the tank.
