Shipped Fish

Im going to get some festea fry shipped to me soon, but i have some concerns.

How should i acclimate the fry?
I resently saw a video of a guy floating the bag in the tank for 10 min and after he removed the fish from the water then he put it straight into his tank.

Whats the best thing to do?

drip acclimate them get some air line and just start a siphon

depending on what you have i ussually do it in a 5 gallon bucket and let it fill up 3/4 of the way or so

ya and if the fish are small try to kink the hose so its drips and does not just pour out

How long should this process take to fill your Five gallon bucket up to 3/4 of the way?

when i say dripping it can be a trickle just water the fish and you can tell if it is going to fast

Why do you have to acclimate them?? The floating bag thing is for temperature purposes in which your package should have heat packs in there...The main concern with shipping fish is oxtgen levels...I always put my fish right in the tank when I get them shipped and leave the light off until they comfortable...
