Shipping Disaster

Hey guys

Question for any of you that may have similar experiences. I have a shipment of fish stuck in transit, and it is now day three, and the shipping company doesnt know whats going on, and they just act like they don't care. They have the attitude "Well it sucks to be you" I am told they may not be here til Tuesday, any of you have something like this happen to you? I cant imagine these fish being alive when they get here, and I am seriously boiling right now, and there is nothing I can do. Seven days in bags, it does suck to be me. You cant find a good lfs anymore, and shipping is inconsistent at best. Any advice?
 
Odds are they will be dead but depending on the typ/size of fish and how the big the bag you may get lucky
 
Not that it's likely to happen, but I've had fish survive 3 days in the post. They were almost dead when they got to me but recovered fully.

Was extremely lucky with them.
 
Private, and I did priority 2 day instead of over night, MISTAKE!, but the pacKage hasent been scanned since Wendesday and they cant tell me why. Very frustrated and stressed out.
 
I had fish a couple weeks ago shipped on wednesday didnt arrive until monday and didn't lose one.there were 20 fish in that box. Did you communicate with the vendor and your recourse?
 
the fish are dead, no point in worrying about it. All shipping companies process tens of thousands of boxes daily. a tiny percent are fish, and even a smaller percent are lost. Many shipments are more expensive. I've been shipping fish for over 13 years, and have had a few lost and delays, but still small in comparison to the amount shipped out. There should be some warranty through the seller unless noted otherwise. This is part of the risk you take with live animals. Better luck next time, you shouldn't get hit by lightining twice I think.
 
Thanks for the replies guys. Yea, He cant do anything about it. Just wish they could explain to me how priority mail hasent been scanned since Wendesday. it makes no sense.
 
Deifnitely do USPS or fedex overnight next time. They guarantee it and it's will worth the extra few bucks
