Ouch! I've gone the priority route on aquabid, but with .5-1" fish.

I've had more shipping disasters than I can count on 1 hand. It's usually USPS that screws it up for me. I remember a time when I bought fish and they didn't ship it on time, I had to call in. No one knew where my package was and this went on for about 2 weeks. Seller and I filed for insurance and got our money back. Then about another 2 weeks later the package finally came. It was all wrapped in saran wrap with a little post it note saying that the box was leaking. (The newspapers were wet to keep the fish cool). I opened the box to the most awful smelling mess. The fish had been dead and decomposing for a good 3 weeks.

If you spend $200 bucks on a fish then you can spend the extra to overnight it with insurance. I have shipped and received many fish in the mail including one that took 4 days that did fine.

Thanks again for the responses guys, and giving me some venting releif. I called up USPS and said just TELL ME WHERE THEY ARE and I will drive and pick them, uhhhhh we dont know we are sorry about that! UNBELEIVABLE! They dont care lets just call it like it truly is. They dont give a ****!
