You might be better off to get an estimate and then see if the buyer is willing to pay that to you if you bring it yourself, and then take a road trip. Should make a bit of extra cash.

Yes,a two foot plus fish is going to need quite a bit of water which will cost a quite a bit in weight.Airport to airport might be a better option.
 
Cost of shippig airport to airport might be less than $200.
To ship Fed-X or the USPO in the proper size box, and amount of water might run $500 just to ship within a 24 hour time period, and if you shipped longer, the fish would probably die.
 
Yea I got off the phone with a few place n lfs and they say said that I'll be pricey mainly for amount of water weight, thnx guyz much appreciated
 
I mean he wants it and he'll pay for the catfish and shipping and helping me free up space in the 180 and save me money on future loss of fish and well Ima miss that rtc bc I've had her since she was 2". Only cost me $125.....I mean $5 was what I paid for her and $120 for the fish that she ate!!!!

Yep, he was in there with a large pleco and 15" Midas. I started moving fish around and I didn't want to add him in the 240. He would've eaten a lot of my investment. Once he's gone, that frees up both tanks
