Shipping a fish that big isn't quite as easy as small fish but the best place to get an insulated box is your local pet store. Once you get the Styrofoam box and the cardboard outer box you will need a large thick plastic bag. I get mine in bulk, not sure where you might get just a few but you need a bag big enough to fill the Styrofoam shipping box. (you need a full size square box) double or triple bag the fish, first put enough water to keep the fish wet, no more, the less you can get by with the better the fish will ship. Capture enough air in the bag to allow th bag to fill the box. Then seal the bag with a thick rubber band. Then put that bag inside another bag and seal it the same way. I usually triple bag my fish. then you tape up the Styrofoam box and put it in the card board box it comes with. seal it all up with tape and ship it over night to your destination. Nothing to it really as long as the post office does their job all will be well when the fish arrives the next day. You should aim for at least ten times as much air as water in the bag.

bring it over i'll do it for you. I got the box and oxygen, etc.

oh ok cool...so does UPS have overnight shipping? im thinking of using UPS as the shipping method...also is that ground or will that be air? im trying to figure out how to use the calculator but not getting any good results...lol and so far i get what your saying so i appreciate it =D but once i get the fish bagged up with enough air...and pack it with styrofoam do i still need to buy a heat pack? and if so where can i get them? And when i get the fish bagged with enough air inside, packed in the styrofoam box and then packed within the cardboard box and tape it...so i need to do anything else? what do i do when i go into the Post office or the UPS office?

UPS does overnight, bring the fish over, I'll pack it all up for you and show you the nearest UPS location. what the shipping zip code. I'll calculate for you. Just pay for my shipping supplies and we're good.

80$ usps
Fedex will be nuts...
Use 4 thick bags for a fish that size. No heat packs are needed, it's too warm and you'll cook the fish. You can use jungle ship-right or similar products, but it is not needed imo. If your lfs has pure o2, use it. They'll provide styro boxes and bags for free. I buy mine in bulk online.

Did you watch the how to properly bag fish instructional videos? You'll get the technique down by watching those.
