Dude I think that is taking it to far-he wants to put them in 180 gallon tank! While everyone elses points are valid your statement is really unreasonable!
I agree we should want our fish to grow to as big as they can-not limit them but at the same time I have not seen or heard of Odoes past 14 inches-My friend David has them in a pond-HUGE-close to 5000 gallons-and the Odoe have stayed at one foot.
Amazing about the CK-but I'll say it again not the norm! I provided my CK with more than enough room to reach 40 inches-so you can't say it is the norm-I mean if 1032 gallons isn't enough space than I don't know what is.

like i said they don't grow no bigger than 12-13 inches dog, plus show some pics of these specimen and tanks
 
I hope they shoel for you too, I was dissapointed with how mine dont hang togather, where did you order from?
 
I want to but haven't seen him lately I always met him at a place called PetsBarn-I think he quit! But I'll give him a hollar!

odoe's, mine anyways dont really shoal in traditional sense of syncronized swimming. however, they dont mind one another, and when idling will face similar directions, and thus when they dart from idle will all go in same direction but random after that
