I was at my favorite LFS today and I noticed they had like 5 ADORABLE little black diamond rhoms about an inch long in the same tank. These are usually solitary fish right? If they have been kept in a small shoal from that size the rest of their life do you think it would be possible to keep that number of black diamond rhoms together successfully into adulthood?

It would most likely work as long as you kept them well feed and you may still lose some since they eat fins 
On a side note wouldn't you need a huge tank when they are full grown
If they say a 180g is good for 1 then what size do you think you might need for a shoal of 5 or 6

Who needs a bed room anyway when you can have one big ass fish tank filled with those beauties 
when they mature it is like they suffer from roid rage so I wouldnt recommend it. Also because they grow so slow starting at a small size it would take years (like 6 years+) before you would need a 120gal+.
