shocking

my fingers crossed the prongs on the plug and i got zapped,and my light was unplugged.
pops said the ballast could hold power.shop light.
news to me.

Mine fell completly in the tank. Didn't seem to shock me or the fish. Actually it was a reptile uv light but still.

I have had that happen several time, actualy mostly because my roommates cat has the special tallent of jumping on one of my tanks in such a way that it knocks the cover and light into it. The first two times it happened i thought the cat was a gonner but i managed to pull him out and no one got shocked. He is a very lucky cat. He hasn't done it in a few weeks, i guess he finaly learned his lesson.
