But i agree, price of kicks these days is scary, which is why it helps having friends in the right places...

@Krich, about the fakes, i have an office in Guangzhou China, and i can tell you there are buildings that are literally filled from ground floor to top floor with just fake kicks...

A real sneaker head will wear anything that's tight or rare. Flightclubny.com is a good sight for authentic kicks. Locally i prefer sports zone or dtlr. In the D.M.V we rock J's, goadomes, new balance is a local favorite and pretty much anything everybody else doesn't have. My son has been asking for the jeremy scott captain americas. Ya'll seen them?
 
Lol,I remember a few years back there were Air Force1's with images of Scarface on them...certain people in the hood loved those...is it true that these fake kicks are made of the same materials and at the same factories that the real deals are made at?

I agree that sneaker heads will wear anything rare / unique, which is why i leave my kicks on ice for ages before wearing them ;)

As for the capt' america shoe, cant say i've seen it, but i've stopped flowing JS' adidas a while ago...

This is what i've been hearing a lot of as well, and while i dont necessarily think the shoes are coming out of the nike factories per se, i have heard from reliable sources that a lot of fakes these days take parts of a real nike shoe and combine it with certain fake parts to produce them...

That way, all the things such as tags, soles etc which were once used for spotting fakes is no longer possible on the really high quality fakes...

I was told that the high quality knockoffs are sometimes unlicensed replicas meaning the factory was only suppose to make 100, 000 but make 200, 000. Then sell the extras off. I hated the clear air forces and J's. I really hated the gucci burberry jordans. I use to tell guys since when do gucci and nike do business together? Slightly off subject but louis vuitton recently busted rick ross for wearing lv printed clothes he didn't make. Lol.
 
Lol,serves him right.I'm sick of rappers calling themselves bragging and name dropping fashion designer names.
 
Yeah, LV is notorious for suing people for violating their copyrights... Just a few months ago, LV sued a tiny independent hair dresser in HK for using the same checkered pattern as LV uses (minus the logo) on their chairs and stuff...

I guess you have a point but I've nothing against Luda,now Rick Ross I don't particularly like lol....Louis Vouitton has actually been dead for years it's just that his name and design are such icons in the fashion world,they are a company...The price of real LV luggage is astronomical.
