I don't know of anything nice that can be said about a government with people in place who feel that it's citizens don't have a right to defend themselves in their homes or on their property.

With the way many governments are run areas like most of Europe, Australia and such are very vulnerable to a foreign military takeover, as for much of European gun laws, they were made to insure a easy nazi takeover during ww2, this is why hitler was so successful, what's surprising is these laws still stand today, Churchill would cry and hitler would laugh if they could see what happened today

Maybe not Australia but much of Europe is already in the throes of takeover but I'll save that for another discussion.

Also do u know why Japan never did a mainland invasion of the u.s during ww2? Guess
Ummm lets see, because they knew that a part of the citizenry was armed and knew how to shoot?

They did not possess the military power to both defend and attack. Remember the US fleet really gave them a run for their money

The Japanese decided to attack less armed areas, which still didn't work due to the limited resources in Japan. Take a look at arisaka rifles the first few years they were decent quality but the " last ditch" arisaka said were in terrible often unfinished condition
