Shop lights from kmart

Never seen "Mr. Mom" ?
 
Okaay. The type of bulbs i got from walmart, (6400K) emit kind of a yellow tinge, make the water look greenish/brown. I know its not my water i tryed a different bulb from the 55 gallon lights.

Can this be fixed with a different type?
 
I was never satisfied with shop lights when I had them w/ the bulbs that came with them. Would be excited if someone can post a pic of shop light/good bulb combo that looks good on a tank..
 
That's why you buy the shop light fixture without the bulbs.
I got mine for less than $10 each at Menards then popped in some T-8 6500K bulbs from Menards for about $8 each.

Lol it didnt come with the bulbs!! i bought for 10 bucks, 2 of em. Should i try a different bulb? what about the plant and aquarium bubls they sell at home supply stores?
 
They are probably the same bulbs that you find at the LFS only cheaper.
