Any chance the Oscar is a Ocellatus Crasipinnis? They have a much shorter body. A while back they were not that prevalent. Nowadays they are popping up. If so, nice find.
"Short-bodied" Oscars are the result of mis-informed people who raised the lil puppies in toooooo small of a tank. On the other hand, if the speciman you have is an Ocellatus Crasipinnis, pretty cool find.
