Short Body Super Red Texas

well, I tried to get him but they decided that they didn't want to part with him so I am on the hunt again.
oh forgot to mention that hes only 3". This is what I am hoping to get out of my current projects. but I still hope I can find another one like this.
I think the "short body" shape makes it less stunning. It almost looks like a discus.
It's much more interesting to see a normally shaped cichlid with colors that aren't usually on that cichlid. I don't know - just my opinion.

the body shape is desirable - wide and not tapering towards to tail part. i dont even consider it as short. pearl formation and colors are superb. the kok is beginning to develop. if not for the weak tail, this fish should be perfect for me. thanks for sharing
