a better pic would be appreciated, but i'm pretty sure it's a florida gar. btw plecos are bad tankmates for gars
so should i put the pleco in another tank. wil the pleco suck on the gar or something like that.
thank you

nice going!

yes it will, and it usually ends up fatal to the gar. you should seperate them asap.

so i will separate the pleco asap.. and i will start feeding him from tomorrow.i dont think he will eat anything right now.
thanx for the replies every one.

nice florida. looks alittle stressed. plecos can be kept with gar but is generally bad idea. probablly shouldnt keep them together

nice florida

ok the gar had started eating yesterday itself (surprisingly) and now its well settled at the bottom of the tank. he also ate today morning as well.

Why is it stressed? I'm not following this... It just looks like a fish in a plain environment.. Does not mean it is stressed.

i say it was stressed because it was in a 120cm aquarium in the lfs with like 50 fishes..including id sharks.tiger catfish.bull catfish.paroon sharks.giant gouramis and few more ..so he was really stressed out in that tank for sure
