Must be realistic that if u want to be exclusive in fish keeping u must have a fish that is different from others.The hobbyist in this forum only post their ordinary snakehead with a nice tank set up.In this case the tank set up attracts more attention than the fish.My short body albino channa straita doesnt need an extravagantly overly done tank set up to be special.The fish itself is exclusive although it is not a rare species.

different taste for different people.. i for one would pick an "ordinary" barca or even an "ordinary" micro over your fish... and also, people aren't telling you to decorate your tank for the looks of it, more so because they want your fish to have some hiding places.. you know for the better well being of your fish
