"shortbody" frontosa

My girlfriend bought 4 small frontosa´s, 6months old from a friend who bred them...
Anyways, she gave me one extra and asked me to use it as a feeder for my ATF because it had a weird shape.
When i was just about to drop it in my girlfriend thought it was just too cute and wants to keep it and see how it will look when it gets bigger...

I was wondering if is shortbody or just a silly looking one
I dont know anything about shortbody fish other than what ive seen in Bichirs...

I also agree that it's a shortbody, keep it and grow it out. I think it'll be pretty interesting. My 1st time seeing one. Nice.

its probably a short body, but who know it may be deformed(which is basically the same as short body), or it could somehow, MAYBE be stunted.... just my 2 cents, if it doesnt grow it may be stunted its not entirely unheard of.

If you are not planning to breed then no one should be upset that you grow it out! I think it would be cool... worst case send it to me!

He looks very unique. I'd keep him, he would make a great addition to a frontosa tank. Nice!!! I love that guy.
