Most definitely. That and won’t move whilst your watching, turn away, look back and the fish is in a different spot and the food has gone. Masters of it.
I saw mine eat but that's only because I'm hella paranoid when it comes to my Goonch because I've had bad luck with them. So, I enticed and watched to make sure they're eating. My current Albino Goonch is very food aggressive. Took food from tongs originally and now knows the cues of feeding. Powerheads and filter go off, the hood raises and he's on the move. Feverishly skimming the top and scaring me because he often hits the glass canopy. Keep worrying he'll hurt himself.
