Thanks David R-I had thought about that and have been watching them since I put them in there. after more than a year up and running there has not been in incident yet (touch wood).
Tcarswell- Thanks, the gourami is beautiful and has almost doubled in size. He has also become a D***. He has harassed my two poor red oscars to the point that I have to remove them from the 310gal where they live. HE doesn't seem to have a problem with any other fish in the tank though.
