just remembe that fx5's arent the greatest bio filter.run an eheim as well to get the best of both worlds+plus a sump!!!

Nothing will work unless you choose the correct bio-media for it. Im sure if I packed a FX5 full of high quality bio-media, it would do a hell of a filtration job.
